Paul and I are over the moon to share that we will be rounding out our family this fall with a sweet baby GIRL! Our world is about to get a little more pink and glittery and we could not possibly be more excited about this being our next chapter!
That being said…I feel I owe an explanation as to why I have fallen off the face of the earth for the past 20 weeks. I have been sick, you guys. SO sick. Most days consisted of me crawling from the bed, to the bathroom floor, to the couch, and back again. I worked closely with an amazing team of doctors and tried several different medicine and diet combinations to help battle my severe ‘morning’ (HA! More like 24/7) sickness…but nothing seemed to help except for time. It was crippling to not only me but our entire family, and any Mama that has suffered extreme morning sickness – I am WITH YOU and I am CHEERING YOU ON to the other side! You can do this! Over the past few weeks my symptoms have eased up and I am finally feeling alive — we are beyond thankful for that! We are praying for a downhill road through this second half of pregnancy! I’m keeping my eyes on the prize and I know it will all be SO worth it in the end! This baby girl is going to be surrounded by more love than she’ll know what to do with! But I would be lying if I said it didn’t break my heart each time I had to turn down a birth, newborn or family session over these past few months — please know that I would have LOVED to work with you, but physically it just wasn’t possible and I wouldn’t have been able to give you the type of experience you deserve. (Side note: I am thrilled to announce that I just recently began booking clients again and it feels so good to be back! I missed you guys!)
